Getting Wired Up

Yesterday we spent over nine hours trying to wire up the fan. Apparently a ceiling staple shorted the fan wire. There was no way to remove the ceiling. We spent all day using a copper pipe, a shop vac, a drill, a saws all, a drain snake, etc. to try and bore a hole through three feet of thick foam insulation. In the end....we won!
This winter the vinyl flooring held alot of moisture. When we removed the vinyl we found luan under it, moldy construction paper under that, another vinyl flooring piece with more moldy construction paper under that, and finally the plywood. We allowed the plywood to dry, sanded it, and decided that we actually liked the grain. We stained it, and decided to keep it without the vinyl.
We painted the side door handle, and the outdoor lantern with Rustoleum Aged Pewter and installed them.
We picked up a fun pillow in Amazon here.
We also found a fun Smores Tin on Ebay.
This week we will have the canvas finally put on.
